Assessment Resource – Motivating Faculty

Do you need to encourage your faculty to gather evidence of student learning? VISCOM has created an introductory video for the Office of Academic Assessment to serve exactly this purpose. Please feel free to share it with all faculty to help them understand the reasons we look for evidence of student learning. It can be watched here or on the Assessment website.

Program Review Updates

Congratulations to following programs that have completed their review in the 2013-2014 academic year:  Child and Adolescent Development, Jewish Studies, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, Physics and Astronomy, and Political Science. The departments of Anthropology, Deaf Studies, Recreation and Tourism Management, and Religious Studies are also commended for nearing completion of their review process.
